Ledmania, your are such a lolster😉 😀
Tell me, when will you be released from this work and be able to go home ?

My contract will end this 19th of June and will disembark in Istanbul. So, I will be in Manila this 20th of June🙂. I miss my wife and my children as well as my beloved scope and breadboard😀
Tekko, your latest scheme version is much simpler... to understand.. 🙂
FB within the TL494 circuitry... nice one..
Ledmania, thanks for the original idea... mabuhay ang pinoy !! 🙂
ill have to think of ways/design a "discrete" way of switching the mosfets w/o using IR2010....
🙂
ill probably breadboard the TL494 tommorow...
hopefully, this would be my 1st ever D-amp .. heheheh
If, i succed in making a descrete mosfet driver in lieu of IR2010...
need more info still....
reading more.
a quick question:::
tekko, regarding on your latest scheme attachement, am I looking at this right?? pin#2(2V Vref) of TL494 left unconnected???

Tekko:
It is not, it just looks that way. The "2Vref" label means its connetced to pin 16.
>> ok 😀 I thought it outputs a 2V reference voltage from there (pin#2).. hehe
ledmania:
RX5, Thanks for the cheers . We needed that sometimes .
>> no problem dude 😀 😎
Another TIP:
why not use 5 pcs of .6V drop diodes(1N914,1N4148) connected in series... voltage drop of 3V from the TL494 pin#14 5V reference that sure is a nice source of 2V 😉
Anyways, gotta buy some passive components... TL494 circuit only... wanna hear the "headphone out"..
HOw I wish it would rain IR2010's.. hehehehhe
😉
Another Question ::: whoever wants to answer, feel free..
#1 : HOw much GATE Voltage "turn-ON" Q1?? in reference to 'Q1 Source'?? positive or negative?
#2: HOw much GATE Voltage "turn-ON" Q2?? in reference to 'Q2 Source'?? positive or negative?
i dunno if it could be done with using discrete level shifters... I was thinking of an CMOS HV circuit(generating +45VDC@3mA?, diode capacitor voltage multiplier) and using fast switching transistors to "switch" the HV to the GAte of the MOSfets...???? comments pls...
I really want it to be discrete as possible... just a --poor guy-- here trying to come up with basic parts...

heres a link/image showing how:

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

That is not really a good idea.
You must be allowed to adjust the 2vref, the 50% duty cycle does not really occur on 2v, but alittle under. Atleast on my amp.

Hi Tekko,
what are the +/- rail voltages are you using now for the output section?
Thanks, regards

That's what the DIY UCD circuits are around here for, knock yourself out 🙂
Im back on 2x19v after a big failure yesterday, i also blew my B&O ICEPower module but that gave me an opportunity to get some nice parts to upgrade my project with so now it works nicely. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
There is no longer any need for answers.
I am giving up this project.
And this time i´m not continuing either.

Seriously you'd get much further if you tried asking google first, once you've exhausted that avenue, if your problem remains unsolved, you'll at least then be able to ask a decent question that shows you made some effort.
This time it was due to shorting something out with a screwdriver, it killed atleast the fets so i replaced them with IRFP250N, they got hot instantly, even the cables between trafo and rect melted.
But this have costed alot of money this far, and theres just no point continuing.
