Given that you didn’t do it while the panel was outside the box, a big rasp can work very well. It won’t be as pretyt but just as effective. Chris had a specific router bit to do this.

Thank you. So the bits are available then. Wonder if Chris could advise where from?Given that you didn’t do it while the panel was outside the box, a big rasp can work very well. It won’t be as pretyt but just as effective. Chris had a specific router bit to do this.

Hmm, Google failed me again! 🙁 This is starting to become a problem as it used to be quite accurate or at least admitted defeat.Thank you, but I need a negative one, reverse as the baffle is in place.
Oh well, like Dave suggested, a rasp is what I've always used for flaring out the backside of a driver's/whatever cutout plus it's randomness/ roughness is actually technically superior to a router's chamfer.
GM’s last sentence.
Chris worked for a big cabinetPlus maker and had lots of industrial supply.

Ahh I know what might work, I have rasps as a drill bit, if that makes sense...might just work.Hmm, Google failed me again! 🙁 This is starting to become a problem as it used to be quite accurate or at least admitted defeat.

I work for a furniture manufacturer, will see if we have one, not convinced, as it's odd.GM’s last sentence.

Ditto; while I have various size/shaped wood rasps, I typically used the bits available for my big power hand router used for doing various metal working/grinding/polishing to make quick work of it.Ahh I know what might work, I have rasps as a drill bit, if that makes sense...might just work.
Wow, amazing! It has a very good quality of your design.
Especially the American black walnut veneer finish with plain grey sides which very attract me

Speedy progress for such a large build and looking good! It may already be on your list but are you using any damping material in the driver chamber? Most of Scott's designs suggest a 1/2 felt lining to reduce reflections (I think?)
I did ponder that. I have some herwick sheep's wool (in a Matt form) that I was going to experiment with.Speedy progress for such a large build and looking good! Herwick means little to me, but the rest looks a good choice.
