4 months are gone and after this burn-in period, the amp has developed incredibly, it's phenomenal.
I've done various listening comparisons with friends recently and I've always gone home with a grin on my face
The opponents were between 2$$$-1$$$$, so...

Please help me understand why you have chosen in the SE buffer schematic to use R32-100r to tie Gate to Source instead of just a direct connection?

depending of mood, I'm putting in exact position anything from 100R to 1K
fact is - some JFets tend to be sorta unpredictable when nude gate given to outer world
besides seeing that on practicalle every Papa's schmtc, I had my schooling during matching of plethora of 2SK2145
was thinking that my SOT23-6 fixture was shot but luckily, while waiting to get new one shipped, came to revolutionary idea of inserting gate stopper
suddenly no wandering Iq on even slightest finger press on top of fixture
now I can clang with hammer on top of it, no change in Iq
go figure
interesting - Papa Borbely didn't use gate stoppers for JFets, not shown on any sch from his site, even if evidently used for toobz and mosfets
