Regarding "snubbering" it should not be difficult to add it as "glued on" on current PCB versions?

no need, really
if you can do it nicely, outboard - do it
on board, trouble to improvise would be much greater than any possible improvement

I have just posted my partially assembled balanced Pre Iron kit for sale in the Swap Meet. The reason is that I have ordered a complete Iron Pumpkin kit from the mighty ZM.
Not sure I was first to respond…but if so, I’ll take it and pass my untouched kit along to the next person in line in the list for the store price plus shipping.
I hope I haven’t publicly shamed myself by being greedy and lazy at the same time 😂
If Jason or ItsAllInMyHead can post who was the next official person in line for a balanced kit I will offer mine up as promised once we sort out the transaction.

OK…if whoever was next in line for a balanced Iron Pre kit is interested in buying my kit please feel free to reach out via PM.
About these PCB-layouts for pre-amps.......if we look at NP's layout for B1K and also B1T (from memory). B1K here:
https://www.firstwatt.com/pdf/art_nutube.pdf
.....then these layouts are with a very large and nice "ground plane"?
It is very nice for the eyes and I looked forward for such a layout for the B1K sold by DIYstore back then.......but it was "just" a "normal" layout.
My question is: does it matter? ......is it for "you eyes only" or will it perform better regarding noise?

I’m not sure…seems like wwwtttwww was next in line and didn’t get a kit, but I don’t know if he wanted a balanced kit or single ended.
For that matter, I’m not sure if people before him passed because there were no more balanced kits.
Just trying to be fair, but if it’s too complicated to figure out I can just post it in the swap meet.

I am feeling Irreverent. 🤓
Yes. There is always many in a list for whom the timing just didn't work out right or for personal reasons can't purchase at that time. Anyone who didn't purchase will keep their position for next time, with people who did purchase removed from the list.
Wait... not fair.
How about those at the end of the list get moved to the beginning of the list and those who passed this time get moved to the back of the list? Run the list as a circular FIFO. Move the head of the list to the next one after the last purchase.
Otherwise you are giving the people in front TWO opportunities to buy while the 3rd class and Caboose people don't ever get the chance!
