Which direction for the BOM? I know it's out there somewhere.

I kinda laugh because I know some folks out there that are waiting years, to have an amplifier built for them. Not my way of thinking that's for sure. For this project, I am just buying some here and there as I can afford it. Reminds of saving pop bottles back in the day to go to the movie on Friday. 2 cents a bottle, and the movie was 35 cents.

Hello IPA-builders,

I would call my IPA-project finished. Listening to it at the moment. Very nice preamp!

Cinemags have been caged (although not necessary). I have started it - I finished it.
Input - switcher and LEDs work properly.

Cheers
Dirk 😉

Hello Robin,

I will report back. I have not listened to the IPA in comparison to many other pres I have built.
What I can say imediately is its 'infatuation' to details and super low noise. It sounds well balanced.

I have built Waynes line stage (and many derivates of the WLS with different active devices), ACP+, KORG B1 NUTUBE, Aleph P1.7,
Son of Zen; BOSOZ and a few others.
All these preamps are more than good! The question is - How good does any of these preamps meet the requirement of the rest of your system?

IPA plays on a very high level - for sure.
Cheers

You have everything to be proud of here. I would like to an in focus shot of the back panel with enough light to make out the details better. Cameras love to expose the lighter background surfaces that are actually not the subject of the photo, making the subject way too dark, or light in some cases. Also, having an LED on will likely skew the exposure in the wrong direction. Just some friendly advice. Your product is very well worthy of being seen how it actually is. I even use a tripod to steady the camera for much better focus. Ok, I will shut up now.

FWIW, I really like that you caged the transformers. I will do the same.
