For most HiFi situations the 115dB S/N of the Hypex is more then enough! But with nearfield listening and high sensitive drivers (Bliesma 3") it's already on the edge.
I would sinply use a DSP with digital outputs and a bunch good D/As (SMSL SU-9 or similar) + optimised Hypex amps. And put it in a 3HE 19" housing maybe. Should be good for 123-125dB S/N of the whole system. More would get serious work to realise.
Starting from scratch ... I'm not THAT motivated any more 🤓

Then I'll probably stick with the actual FA503. I want good sound but also relative simplicity. In the meantime I'm still having fun with the 1200/AS2For most HiFi situations the 115dB S/N of the Hypex is more then enough!
