5.xxxMHz MCLK may not support all Fs music. You can try 1 on all other off.
Please don't change anything until you confirm the system is fully functioning with the default XOs.

I'm glad you were able to finish GB2023 with a solid, smooth finish.
Well, I'm set, everything is working but I ran into a speed bump.
On the SinePi, I think I finally figured out how to tighten the coax connector to the SinePi. Instead of twisting and waiting for it to tighten, I use pliers and apply pressure until I hear a click.
The 5MHz works with the TP AES. I think the dip switch is 1 on all other off, but because of my poor eyesight I can't confirm without a Macro lens.
The speed bump and the reason I was going to email you today was the legacy UcPure MKI power button snapped off when I was troubleshooting days ago. So today, I tried a power switch on/off button with the UcPure with no luck. I was waiting for 2.54mm terminals so it will be cleaner, but since it is a legacy board I decided to try to solder the power switch on/off button wires to the PCB. I get confused because there's blank labeling on the UcPure and there's blank labeling on the power switch on/off button. I think this is normal Industry practice for power switches, so I have to research. I got the UcPure to constantly blink the power on LED, but that's it. I'll experiment another time and just physically pull the DC Power plug from the UcPure as needed. Since it is a legacy PCB, it's too much trouble to repair so since I was planning on adding a power switch on/off button anyways since the UcPure is in a Battery Box it should be fine with no original power button.
Can you send a link of a power switch on/off button that is confirmed working with the UcPure?
I'll check back for GB2025. I'm going to make a couple of follow-up post in the power thread then it's "Mission Accomplished" until 2025.

I still have some of on/off switch. Please let me know if you need some.

Okay. It's very, very low priority so if I need one day I'll let you know next time I order more parts. Maybe Summer Project would be the earliest.
As long as I can troubleshoot by using a small screwdriver to flip turn on/off it's workable.
I just have stiff solid wiring and I use a Battery Box for the UcPure that complicates, but it's fine as I just unplug / plug the laptop charger when needed otherwise it's 24/7:
I started a blog for Tips of DIY digital audio projects.
Trying to help the GB members to build there project.

I'm still working on adding more.
Please let me know if you have any tips to share.
Thanks,

Hi guys,
The new HdmiPiPro II stock is available today. All the rest GB orders can be finally shipped by early next week.
I thank you for your patience.
I'm really happy with the build quality of the new HdmiPiPro II PCB. It has setting jumpers to config the I2S over HDMI format. So theoretically it works with all kinds of DAC even with different I2S over HDMI format. It also equipped with two mounting brackets in case you need to mount it to the back plate.
New user's manual will be posted very soon.
Good weekend

I summarized some tips of building a digital audio system, as well as some troubleshooting cases.
Please have a read before you getting started.
Just hope they help.

Hi Ian
Just a quick note to let you know that my parcel arrived this morning well packed and delivered safely. Using the shop to purchase the parts was nice and easy so good work on that.
Many thanks for all of your efforts.
And finally a big thanks to Drive Shaft for keeping this thread running smoothly.
Great work

Hi Ian,
I‘m progressing my build with GB parts and have a few questions regarding the continuous output of the UCPure. While replicating your setup from the post
https://www.diyaudio.com/community/...eapon-to-fight-the-jitter.192465/post-7478491 I was wondering if the continuous output runs 24/7 would it be ok for the fifo board if terms of wear when other boards get switched off. How UCPure will get recharged if continuous output will drop below threshold? Would sync control connection make sense if a single UCPure powers both FiFO synchronously and DAC switched as shown in your setup from the quoted post?

Hi Ian, I found the new HdmiPiPro II listed on the GB2023 website and also a 'Q7 II' which is new to me. Probably, you didn't have a chance yet to update the documentation, but maybe you can already say something about the changes in the Q7II ?
Thanks,
Felix
FifoPi clock side has no problem power 24/7. When turn off, you will still have the continuous output, but the charging circuit will be connected too so the voltage will not drop. SYNC mode work for continouse output.Hi Ian,

Continuous mode has the best low ESR performance and and will be even more clean than the switched output.

I was too busy to have time update the user's manual. I'm really sorry about that.
Please find the attached FifoPiQ7 II user's manual. The HdmiPiProII user's manual will be posted very soon.

FemtoMcK Clocks are not available for sale separately by now. They are supplied for FifoPiQ7II so far.
It could be later.
