new front baffle could make it possible
not very difficult

your midrange should be at height with your face
if, and only if, crossing tweeter as a supertweeter, it wouldnt need to be closer to midrange
crossing woofer at or above above 300hz, it should be closer to midrange

so, all you may need is a new seperate baffle for the woofer only, rest is ok
mounting a new baffle onto the present would be very fine indeed
just cut a big round hole in the present, right behind the woofer
