I need a Buffer with gain?

https://burningampfestival.com/videos/

39 minutes in. Looks like a nice little board. Watching this video, I need to give these full rangers a try.

Mr Pass, are the big speakers upstairs the SR1's? How are you enjoying them after all of these years?
Why 27? Are you the 27th iteration of yourself?

You shouldn’t read and watch so much, soon you will be able to stack your amps to your chimney!

To join the bandwagon. 😉

I seldom do any single-rail, single-ended stuff.
But a while ago, just for fun, I did a 100x (inverting) all-JFET, no-feedback gain stage for passive IV conversion.

Worked first time. I was told it sounded very tube-like.

So I thought, why not reduce gain and fold it down to +30x gain as a gain stage ?
Here is how it can look like.
That is if you dare to run the Onsemi J111 at 40V.
Or you are lucky enough to have Philips / Interfet ones in your private collection.
(Nelson knows them much better than me.)

Vout max +/-17.5V
Disto at 2Vrms 0.011% H2, 0.0026% H3, according to Spice.
All active, low-cost components.

Just for fun, not proven or optimised.

As requested the same circuit in Spice as PNG.
But you really need to study it in Spice to understand how to set the values.
