What circuit are you talking about? This also makes a pretty decent front end for all those follower output stages we play with, as it will swing about 45 volts.
Do you have a link?

39 minutes in. Looks like a nice little board. Watching this video, I need to give these full rangers a try.
Mr Pass, are the big speakers upstairs the SR1's? How are you enjoying them after all of these years?

Why 27? Are you the 27th iteration of yourself?https://burningampfestival.com/videos/

You shouldn’t read and watch so much, soon you will be able to stack your amps to your chimney!
Any update? The entire kit is very flexible, so we are talking essentials, pcb and base level semis.
No hardware or capacitors and only resistors essential to semi Idss values.
It covers store margins, but probably not postage. Again, my estimate.

As of a couple decades ago, there were at least 26 other Mikerodrig's in the world. Settling on 27 was less work then "taking care" of all the other Mikerodrig's.Why 27? Are you the 27th iteration of yourself?

I have 100 pair of "Essentials" kits ready for the store and I am wrapping up the documentation today.
Things run a little slow on battery power during the storm(s).

To join the bandwagon. 😉
I seldom do any single-rail, single-ended stuff.
But a while ago, just for fun, I did a 100x (inverting) all-JFET, no-feedback gain stage for passive IV conversion.

Worked first time. I was told it sounded very tube-like.
So I thought, why not reduce gain and fold it down to +30x gain as a gain stage ?
Here is how it can look like.
That is if you dare to run the Onsemi J111 at 40V.
Or you are lucky enough to have Philips / Interfet ones in your private collection.
(Nelson knows them much better than me.)
Vout max +/-17.5V
Disto at 2Vrms 0.011% H2, 0.0026% H3, according to Spice.
All active, low-cost components.
Just for fun, not proven or optimised.

As requested the same circuit in Spice as PNG.
But you really need to study it in Spice to understand how to set the values.

Heck, even James Bond had to get in order for a numberAs of a couple decades ago, there were at least 26 other Mikerodrig's in the world. Settling on 27 was less work then "taking care" of all the other Mikerodrig's.

And we’re talking about THE Zardoz.
I like number 27 too 😍
