I just bought a whole lamp module from sparelamp.com for my dx609 ( same as EP721, EP727 optoma). thats a SHP 112 180W DC ( dont know the voltage). I'd like to know :
1/ if there is a way to use something else to make the screen brigher. this projector is a 2200Lumens. that's not enough for me. any tip to make it brighter? has the guy yhw bulb that can produce twice lumens output ( not raw lumens from the bulb of course I'm talking about the on screen lumens).
2/ Is it really worth to just change the bulb from a china, whereas in my case I can get the real original module in 24H from UK with sparelamp.com from 150 € including tax, shipping and warranty ?
3/ to yhw : what bulb should I choose to replace my bulb? Sure I just said I just get one new, Thing is my lamp module are changed every 3-4 month as I use them around 12hours / day.

Perhaps you could look to get a screen with a High Gain (Da Lite or Grandview) that may improve your perceived brightness ? Although Lumens hitting screen won't change, a good high gain screen can improve perceived brightness
