Sharp XR10X

Wow, a lot of good and informative info contained in this thread.

I was just wondering if anyone in the States has been able to track down a replacement arc tube for a Sharp AN XR10X lamp?

Yhw said he has some functional lamps but will only illuminate 70% or so of OEM.

Any ideas? I know they're out there since a couple Co's are re-lamping them, but haven't been able track them down yet.

I have been looking for the same for some time. Surely someone has a way to get these. This was and is a hot selling projector. great picture and very bright.

Please let me know if anyone has any ideas on this too!

Finally I managed to focus my lamp maybe at 99% and the picture is GREAT! I had to do a little trick though because everything else failed for me. I removed a small piece of metal with a hole that was attached to the projector right in front of the lamp housing.

I placed that metal piece in front of the lamp and put the whole thing close to a bathroom tile facing the back (brown side) so that the reflection is not damaging my eyes (I also wore 2 pairs of dark sunglasses 😛).

Then I focused the lamp to the brightest setting (all the focused light escaped the hole and hit the tile) while I had the cement in place.

The cement set in moments and voila!

Benq PB6100 bulb

Hi ywh!

I need a bulb for my Benq PB6100. The lamp is NSH200BQ USHIO. What's the cheapest bulb I can use in this projector, and how much would it cost to ship to Canada, postal code S7N3X1?

As well, when you ship these bulbs, are there any instructions included as to how to go about replacing the bulb, or do I just read through the forums here to find out? Do I also need to buy a special type of cement to cement the bulb back in once I have it together?

Oh yeah, my e-mail address is jon.churko@usask.ca.

Thanks,
Jon
