Hi arpruss!
I have not original SHP bulb now(burner), I can order original lampkits of InFocus 4805, need $200. it is not reconstructed lampkits.

Hi kennethjp!
You can turn back my bulb is can not work, lost some shipping only.

Hi greenzr800 !
Your lamp is 260w DC 40V HML. You need JYS/DC 40V.

Hi jarkkoh
Is there some loose metal wires on the glass rod of the lamp? or a air bubble inside the glass rod ?
you can pull out bulb to take a picture.
you Can improve lamp live by putting 220-250w lamp on it.

Hi CORNBREAD
Most 400W Metal Halide is DC, but you have to wait your PJ.

INteresting Side note read this page............. Notice the Following
"By operating the arc at high pressure, typically in excess of 200 atmospheres"

then I mosey on over to
http://www.tvtechnology.com/features/Tech-Corner/f_technology_corner-07.07.04.shtml

And see
"Fluorescent lamps typically operate at rather low pressures of a few atmospheres; UHP lamps operate at pressures above 200 atmospheres. The scuba divers reading this know well that an atmosphere, corresponding to standard atmospheric pressure at sea level, is about 14.7 pounds per square inch. 200 atmospheres is then about 3,000 pounds per square inch."

Dare I ask what happens if we happen to drop one of these suckers
??????

I don't think that UHP lamps really holds 200 ATM of pressure, on the other side once a projectionist who worked for a big multiplex theatre at the time told me that a lamp of a movie theatre projector dopped can leave a 6 meters crater (i'm more ready to believe that 6 meters is where the shock wave is dangerous anyway)

The bulb is difficult to take of.
There is a metal ring precisely the size of the narrow glass socket.
Cant pull metal ring out because the metal socket is bigger than the metal ring.
And hole is so small that i cant pull out the bulb :S
So, takes some time to get it out.

The buld is malformed and totally black. Looks like= --8--
I hope that i can measure arc lenght with bright backlight.

I put that picture next week.

hi i have a benq pb6110 with a bulb that has 2100 hours .it stoped working.i did not use it in econo mode, but mostly on video mode wich is like second best after cinima .the machine gives a lamp fault reading, but it gives the same reading with out the lamp.i want to be sure that is realy the problem.i would like to buy a lamp from ywh with the cement if possible i need a nsh200w..got anything for me? thank you

there are loose metal wires on the rod of the lamp, that is low-voltage ignition AC lamp, like the pic.

your HSCR has no this loose metal wires , so that is high-voltage ignition AC lamp,

Hi ywh! Thanks for the lamp (got it a week ago) it worked great
the first day i testet it (bright and with good colours). But sadly the next day the projector broke down just after 30 minutes. After checking the powerboard the first thing i noticed was that the resistor R577 is burned (and open) and the condensator C518 is shorted. After some reading in this great forum I guess that the viper100a and one or two photocouplers SFH617A-2 is gone too and C13
(el.condensator 100mikroF. 25V).And the 3 pinned component on the left of C518 marked ?508 (i can´t read the first letter ).
I guess schematics for this powerboard is impossible to find.If i gonna try to repair this i need to know the values of the following:

R577 ??? ohms (can´t read the numbers because its burnt think it begins with a 5 and ends with a 0)
C518 ?? (got no markings)
?508 don´t know what this is transistor or diod ?? (it´s marked n5 JE)

Projector: Infocus LP530
Ballast: MagneTek Model: 3A49-03-100 (Output:75VDC @ 3.6A)Original lamp is: 270w SHP now lamp is 270w JYS/DC from ywh

Can you ywh or anybody here help me with this, or where i can find a new powerboard?
Any help would be great! Thanks!
