Does anyone know what the operating temperature of the lamp is? I can get a silicate based high temperature stove sealant that is rated to 500 degrees celsius and was wondering if this would be suitable to glue the replacement lamp into the reflector. I've used it before and it dries solid.

Any details on the lamp or the projector? Also check manufacturers web site for lamp details then you should be able to work out a suitable replacement.

Hello ywh, I'm looking at the same problem. The lamp on my Benq PB6100 is fading fast. It's the USHIO NSH200BQ. Could you send it to Hamburg Germany? Cement and all?
Many Thanks, JayBobDee

Hi ywh
Alright so i got the 200w BSM DC lamp and I mounted as you described and this is what happened :
First time it turns on very less brightness and heats up a lot.
Second time i keep it in a very well air conditioned room..it doesn't heat but its still not too right.
Third time this is some sparking noise and the bulb broke.
Can you explain or do you know what went wrong?...also is 200w bsm dc the right lamp for infocus screenplay 4805 or should it be the 200w 'AC' instead ??...also please tell me which one should i order this time...i dont want to lose more money... i'm counting on you

Okay, so I found someone that had the same vp6121 projector and put my lamp in it... It worked great! So I took th projector apart and it looks like its the "color wheel" Can that be replaced?

can you give me the picture of your color wheel? need a rule in the picture
I dont know what you mean by "a rule"..... sorry im new to this! But I can tell you my projector doesnt have a color wheel in it... I may be able to take a picture of the one like mine if that would help? the guy I bought it from thought the bulb went out and sent it to be "fixed" the place told him they couldnt get the part for it so he sold it to me for $30... So If i can get a wheel for it that will be great! if not maybe Ill just sell the good bulb and get my money back... 🙂
Can you give me an example picture of what your needing so I can get the right picture to you...
sometimes its the simple things that get over looked... Thanks for pointing out my oversite! I never would have connected that! guess my girlfriend is right when she calls me a dork all the time!
Ill try to take a few pictures (of mine and the one just like it) and we will see if we can get something done on this! thanks again for all your help!
