Question for ywh

Hi ywh.

You have good knoledge on commercial projectors and how to replace the expensive original lamps with heaper ones. I would like to ask what kind of projector you would recommend me buying so when the original burns out, I an eplace it with one of your cheaper ones. I'm not looking to buy an overhead lcd panel projector as it's to big and bulky. Also Do you have any projectors with cheap lamps already installed you are selling?

Thanks

I was given a HP VP6121...may be a 😀 or may be a :bawling: , dont know yet.
Anyway, the projected image is dim and from what I read it needs a new bulb. Well im willing to try that first anyway!
Question: The unit has the same lamp as everyone else here, NSH200BQ, printed on the lamp assembly and under the casing. Why does HP's website state the unit as using a "250-watt UHP projector lamp"???
Will this unit accept a 250W lamp? I would assume it would do a world of difference for the brightness of the image, or potentially burn my 'free' unit into the carpet, dont know?
:hot:

I need a replacement bulb for VP6121

Hi there. I just got a second lamp for my VP6121, and my first one just started to fade last night (I now have the settings cranked up to the max and it is still pretty dark). I now have a spare that I can replace just the bulb while still using the other one in the projector. Can I send the old one to you to have the bulb replaced? Or is it fairly straightforward to replace the bulb myself? I am pretty good with stuff like this, but want to make sure that I am doing it correctly.

This is what I have:
Projector: HP VP6121
Lamp S/N: L1708A

Hi johnny_bgood46 !
send to old one to you to have the bulb replaced

Hi TMDT!
NSH200BQ is not 250-watt UHP, if your reflector said is NSH200BQ, that is NSH, DC BULB.

Hi !
you can send old one to me to have the bulb replaced, send a email to me, I need your email address.

DC-bulb

Hi ywh,

yes i'm Achim. I mailed you for the DC-bulb.

The lighthouse in your photo above is not mine, but the bulb looks like
my bulb.

I have made a photo of the lighthouse so you can see the dimensions.
The reflector is 11 cm to 11 cm.

The bulb is 330 W DC.

I'll send the money with moneybookers to your mail-adress and send you my adress in a mail

You can answer to a.hans@online.de

regards Achim

LCD projector showing odd colors.

I have a SHARP LCD projector model xg-nv3xb and when I turn the picture on a circle appears on the screen and its different colors inside the circle than what it is supposed to be.

Can anyone explain how to fix this?

ywh,

If I send you a bulb fixture from an Infocus X2 projector (with spent lamp in it), what would you charge to remove the existing fixture and replace it with one of the 200W SHP bulbs you've mentioned (properly aligned, etc)?

I have a spare bulb right now, but I will probably be interested in having this done in the future (I have two X2s that are used frequently). Please email PCMstr84@gmail.com with a price (preferably including insured return shipping -- I'll pay separately to ship the fixture to you).

Also, what was the hour rating on these 200W BSM-DC bulbs? The stock Infocus bulb runs 4000 hours in economy mode, and Infocus claims 1700 lumens. Do yours offer a similar lifespan and brightness?

Finally, do you offer replacements for an Epson PowerLite S5?

Thanks.

Hi ywh,

i tried to send you a mail, but it returns 3 times. I can't use the mail-function of this forum, because my account is still under moderation. 🙁

You ask me for shipping the wrong bulb to other germans. That's no problem. It cost's only 0,70 € (1 US-$). I can make that.

regards
Achim

Hi I need advice for a UHP lamp (underpowered??)

I bought a replacement bulb for a Sharp XG-NV33XE through Ebay. The bulb is originally a 120w UHP round lamp rated at 1000 lumens. The seller sent me a 200w round philips uhp (top C7), and states that it wont cause any problem to have such an underpowered bulb in my projector...is that true?(he even says its better cause it'll last longer)
Thanks for your attention!
