Anyone know a type of cement that you can buy in a hardware type store that would be good to use....the Resbond stuff looks good, I would have to get it mailed to me from the United States. I am in Canada. I figure there must be other good options?
I have VP6121 housing, can I send it for bulb replacement
Hi YWH:
My original bulb for my HP VP6121 just died on me, and I currently have a replacement lamp in it. I have two questions.
1) My new lamp seemed good for about two weeks, and now it had also gone dim. I have the settings pumped up to the very top and lampsaver turned off. Anything I can do, or did I get a dud?
2) Can I send my old lamp housing to have the bulb replaced? I am not sure that I have the skills to do this myself. My email address is brianosaur@yahoo.com and I have a PayPal account for payment.
Thanks,
Brian

Testing the bulb with voltage meter
I have a volt-meter, but am unsure what I would be testing since the unit seems to be in one unit. Are there instructions for what voltage levels would be considered normal and what contacts to test?
I noticed that this particular bulb has a yellowish hue (seen from the back of the projector) whereas the original one look more blue-white.
