How about this...?

This is the simplest TH you can build...single fold straight flare TH or tapped pipe (TQWP).

Mount the speaker on an external panel and you have a transmission line that can't compete with the TQWP.

But, standing 8ft is too tall and placing horizontally is also too lengthy, the 5ft tall T-TQWT looks cool for my living room.

So, would my big room of 4000 cubes appeal for 2 T-TQWTs?

BTW, I saw you've applied only 200 watts rms @ 8 ohms on the 12TBX100 in the HR test, would that be enough for my room (at about 8ft distance)?

For reference, here's a sketch of the room...

Fold it twice back onto itself and create enough rear area in simulation that also yields an offset of the driver entry at the first fold(not well depicted in a drawing or photo as its only a few(12 or so here) cm more than 1/3 total.). This is mid-low 20s hz and <48” ‘tall’. But the BW extends up into the triple digits flat.

Ah, the double fold, interesting, have you built it yourself, why no paint (but I like unpainted), and what's that driver (never seen it)?

I love the shape of the single fold however (quite simple too), but could you give me the dims of this as well?

That's why it's unpainted, I built it myself! Kicker 08S15L74 is the driver. Actually, it was a test enclosure made with scrap MDF.

If I would have built a single fold T-TQWT, then the external dimensions would be 17.5" wide, 16.25" deep, and 61.5" tall.

Why not 4 T-TQWT's, 1 on each wall to cover all room nodes!

Um, like a spiral, would be more compact, but I wanna hit hard @ 20hz with the original 5ft tall T-TQWT, plus its shape, love weird-looking subs... ;)

Ah, you're a sub maker then, do you have the machinery or cutting job from a depot (just asking)?

Well, my friend makes dozens of w-bins (JBL) daily for pa apps, he's never into MDF, says ply is way better in all terms (especially for horns), your opinion?

I heard Kicker is a car audio woofer, how good at horn-loading? Infinity is the only genuine car audio we have (except for Sony/Pioneer as their new origin is unknown).

Kappa Perfect 12VQ (12", 400w, 3" vc, 22.19hz fs, .47 qts, 16.75mm xmax)
Reference 1262W (12", 300w, 2" vc, 25hz fs, .46 qts, 13mm xmax) Kappa 122.7W (12", 350w, 3" vc, 20.6hz fs, .456 qts, 12mm xmax)

Any better than 12TBX100...?

I love deceivers, looks like a floor-standing speaker, but really a subwoofer, and I'm impressed of its test result, plus in a big square room towers look aesthetic.
