it has heatsinks, and the diodes are over the gate resistors the gate resistors are still in the circuit, in some other thread some guy used them this way and said that his amplifier ran better/cooler with them.
If the diodes increase the deadtime, they may make the amp run cooler but may also cause the amp to have increased distortion. The deadtime for perfect operation is critical for the amp to produce as clean as audio as possible.
The part of the time that the drive is between about 2 volts and about 8v, the FET isn't fully on so it will be dissipating a LOT of power/heat when it's conducting.
Is there a way to only use one driver at a time?
C82 has a resistance of 298kOhm
C7 has a resistance of 3,7kOhm
both connect Pin 5 and 7 of the drivers, at both capacitors are 11,85V.

If you reverse the probes on those two caps, do you get the same readings?
If you solder a bridge between pins 2 and 3 of the 21844, it will shut the IC down.

slightly different, 3,7kOhm become 4,1kOhm and the C82 has more kOhm too.
I had one IC shutdown with a bridge, then I had no squarewave at the remaining bank and DC at the output.

no square wave at the output fet´s, i shorted the driver U18 over Pin 2 and 3, both banks had no squarewave.
With U1 and missing high side fet´s of U18 I get a drive signal at the fet´s of U1.

U1 is in circuit and working (generating the drive signals), with just the U18 driver disabled it doesn´t start working.
I desoldered the High-Side Fet´s of the U18 driver, this way it starts generating the drive signals.

U18 was defective (Ohm Range), both produced clean audio (a good looking sine wave), it just broke way before rated power.
It is the right side with the U18 that breaks first.
I will need to wait for new Drivers and output fet´s, they should come in the ninth month.
I will play a little bit with the remaining bank in the meantime.
