Well, with this kit, you can take a short break with your other projects, build this kit, then resume your other projects. There are so few components, and simple requirements for it, so it is probably the easiest amplifier that you can build of any kits.

I have two 300VA transformer at hand with 30-0-30. Is it OK for this gainclone project. Do I have to unwire the copper wire to make it 24-0-24 for making 34V output.
Yours help is appreciated.

A suggestion for future tracking of order without creating another spreadsheet.
Why don't you create a couple more column on the wiki page to include something like "paid", "shipped", etc .... so that after the cut off date, you can just print out the wiki page and use that for tracking all the orders. You probably have much more clever ways of handling it but it's just a suggestion ...

It is too much. The max voltage supply for a chip is +/- 40V DC (or so), so your 30V AC secondaries will almost certainly produce more than that. You can unwind secondaries, and I did it before with great success. You should aim for about 5V less on ea. secondary.

One other question though. I don't have a paypal acount, and to be honest I probably don't need one, but would it be possible to mail you a check or money order ( <- probably more reassuring from your standpoint). I know it's not as fast, but I don't mind waiting a couple days for it to get to you.

This is the first of a few kits that I want to offer. As for this order, I am working out payment details, and getting all the parts lined up that I need to get. I have had a hard time with the exotic resistors, having to source from 4-5 different vendors for one of them to avoid a 5-week lead time.
I will follow through with this order, as long as the demand is there, doing a batch of orders at a time.
The pcbs are the easiest part of the order, especially since the following orders will not have the tooling and testing charges on them.

When will the next reduction in price be anyways?
edit-Quick question, My source will be a pc sound card(M-audio revolution). I asked one of the guys who markets the sound card what the output voltage of the sound card was and this was his response
The Revo output voltage is 3.32v peak to peak.
Would this pose any problems for the gain?

As for the price getting lower, I have decided to not lower the price anymore, but instead, donate a substantial amount of the proceeds to diyaudio, to cover their server costs. Server costs are quite expensive for running the server now, since they are no longer getting free hosting.
I don't believe that this will cause problems with the gain, if you have a proper volume control. What are you using for volume control? As for using the a sound card, I found that I had to turn down the volume on the control panel of the computer down to about 80%, or else I would get distortion on the output during loud passages.
