With the component values, there should be enough gain for your application.

You can change the gain of the gainclone very easily, by simply replacing the NFB resistor (soldered directly to the lm3875 package). The formula to follow, is simply the formula for a regular non-inverting opamp setup:

Gain (Vout/Vin) = (1 + Rf/R1) , where R1 is the currently the 620 ohm resistor, and Rf is the 20k feedback resistor. You can easily change the feedback resistor to get any gain you want, provided that you do not approach clipping.

I would simply recommend trying it first, and if you have issues, drop me an e-mail, and I can work with you to get the design working.

I looked into shipping costs. All below include the cost of shipping materials:

For US purchases, I will be using Priority Mail, which will cost $5.

For Canadian purchases, shipped via USPS Global Priority it will cost $8.

For the rest of the world, except for the 3 countries listed below, it will cost $10 for USPS Global Priority.

For those in Chile, Croatia and Israel, send me an e-mail, and we can work out a way to get you the boards.

I will put up a payment page soon, and start ordering boards and parts on Monday. The PCBs will take a week to get made, and I will start shipping out kits and boards as soon as I get all the parts.

You are welcome to try to combine orders with your friends to save money. Also, if anyone is located in Atlanta, GA, they can pick up the items directly from me.

I am located up 75N, north of the city, just inside the perimeter. Marta doesn't come anywhere near here. We can work something out though. I am usually at Georgia Tech on tuesday nights, working on my projects in the labs, from 5pm til midnight (or later)

I created an order page, with a shopping cart, and payment through paypal. It should be pretty self explanatory. I am fully ready to start taking payments and ordering parts to put these kits together.

I am going to order the pcbs on Monday, and also start ordering all the components.

Drop me an e-mail if you have any questions/problems.

I will process the orders in the order that I receive the payment, so get your payment in soon.

I don't have a cc and so, I don't have paypal, and even if I would have had a cc I would have never created a paypal acount. too many bad stories(including some friends of mine)...

anyway, is there an alternative way to transfer you the money? wire transfer good for you too?

thanks 🙂 :hot:

Is the $5 shipping charge per kit? It does not say on the ordering page. You might want to add that to keep dumb people like me from asking 100 times.
I believe it says that on the page now we just have to add it to the order.

Does the PCB board include the gainclone PCB and the power supply PCB?

Connection question

Hi Brian, I had built an IGC for more than half a year already, but I didn't really understand the NIGC board that you had now. Why there were +/- PGND on the Amp Board? Where would they connect to? (0v of Transformer?) Why there were a set of 4 GND on PSU board? Where would they connect to?
I am picking up here and there from the search, but I think it will be easier to ask you. Also, can I make a special order with the kit that only include all the resistors+caps+boards? It is because I had few LM3875TF and 10 MUR860 in my box, and I want to reduce the cost for my building of (AudioZone Amp 2 +PS2) Like Chassis, knobs and step alt......etc. I admit I'm a cheap little Chinese Student.... Plz help. :smash:

My order went in just fine.

Two small suggestions -- clarify the insulated/non-insulated difference on the order page itself, and have the text 'your shipping and tax will be calculated on checkout' removed from the PayPal page.

Thanks 10^6, and I'm looking forward to your next offerings.

Sorry, I added a bit more text to make this more clear. You must add your shipping method in addition to adding the kits/items that you want.

Sorry for the confusion.

Somehow i can't add the shipping costs to the kit on the page (i can order only one item a time); tried both IE & Mozilla.

I had an error for the international shipping cost button, and it is now fixed.

The problem is that I have 3 different shipping flat rate shipping costs, meaning that I can't use profile based shipping (sets one flat rate for everything), or item based shipping (shipping based on the item that you pick). This is the only method for now. It adds confusing, but it works.

Drop me an e-mail if you are still having any problems.
