Group order of non-inverted LM3875 pc boards? Anyone interested?

I'm in for 4 kits. (added to Wiki)

How much of a hassle is it to use the non-insulated version? I've put heatsinks on CPUs when building computers, so it doesn't sound like too big a deal.

And thanks to Paul Hilgeman for posting this group buy on the MAD board.

I'm in for one kit (2 channels).
This is perfect, since I've already started building my power supply... and was going to have to hunt down schematics, parts, suggestions, advice, etc...
Thanks for offering the kit!

I do have a couple easy (hopefully) questions though:

In the future, I'm interested in building an LM3886 chip amp at some point... would this PCB facilitate that?
If so, I may put myself down for a couple more of the PCB's.

Also, I'm already in the midst of building my own power supply [for a GC project]... I was planning on housing it in it's own chassis... and if possible, each channel in it's own chassis.

IIRC, you earlier stated you might integrate the power supply PCB in with the GC's PCB?

Can you clarify what the final PCB(s) will come in the kit?
One PCB (for everything)...
Two PCB's (one for PS, one for a stereo GC)...
Three PCB's (one PS, two separate GC channels)?

This will help me also determine if I can stick with my original 3-chassis strategy for my stereo pair (or maybe another reason to buy more PCB's). 😉

The LM3886 has a different pinout, so will not work with the pcb. The LM3875 is the only chip that will work on the pcb.

This is correct, 3 boards.

I looked into shipping costs. All below include the cost of shipping materials:

For US purchases, I will be using Priority Mail, which will cost $5.

For Canadian purchases, shipped via USPS Global Priority it will cost $8.

For the rest of the world, except for the 3 countries listed below, it will cost $10 for USPS Global Priority.

For those in Chile, Croatia and Israel, send me an e-mail, and we can work out a way to get you the boards.

I will put up a payment page soon, and start ordering boards and parts on Monday. The PCBs will take a week to get made, and I will start shipping out kits and boards as soon as I get all the parts.

You are welcome to try to combine orders with your friends to save money. Also, if anyone is located in Atlanta, GA, they can pick up the items directly from me.

For those looking for a chassis for this group order, Peter Daniel is organizing a chassis group order:
