Hi,
can someone give me the exact dimensions of the board including hole spacing for mounting?
Thanks

PCB is 108mm x 57mm or 4.25" x 2.25".
Mounting hole centers are 101.5mm x 50.9mm or 4" x 2".
Mounting hole diameter is 3.5mm 0r 0.14".
Hope that helps.

Clearance needed in enclosure
Destroyer OS, how much clearance is needed in the enclosure with the recommended parts?
I am planning to do a build with max 3A current and was planning to do two small units with 2 boards ea. Would something like this enclosure do:
I would only put in one US outlet in it, and cover up the other holes.
Thanks

The 3A Comoco could fit in that as long as you trim the leads and use less than 10mm stand offs. However it cannot exist anywhere there is a socket, so I'd look at length and width concerns, not just height.
I checked with supplier of terminals, estimated ship date is 9/16 . A little disappointed on that time frame... what's new. I'm over the covid stuff, let's ship things again.
Not surprised at all, and it could certainly be worse. It's been such a PITA to get parts. The shipping container shortage and gouging will likely be around into next year. Just have to suck it up for now.I checked with supplier of terminals, estimated ship date is 9/16 . A little disappointed on that time frame... what's new. Destroyer OS, is that ship date from you (in US) or from China?
Thanks!
Neither.
That's from distributor to me.
Standoff kit for this board
Hi
I will be mounting this project in an aluminum case. I was wondering if anybody can suggest a suitable standoff spacer and screws for this board?
Destroyer OS notes that the board works well with "M3 screws and standoff kits."
I am looking for a height of less than 8mm for this. As usual digikey has too many options for the nonexpert to make sense of.
Thanks for any leads or part #s .

mind the thread size.
Re: standoff
Thanks Highflyin6s. Those are metal standoffs. Do they need nylon washers to avoid a short circuit?
Also does one need a tapping bit to screw these into aluminum case? Thanks

The boards are isolated from a short circuit unless you some how stocked progressively larger star washers until they were absurd and continued to wrench down super hard on them. You can see the gap on the boards when looking at them.
Stands offs can have a double opening or a stud on one end. So if you want the stand off to not need a nut or a screw coming from the bottom, yes you'd have to tap the enclosure.

Thanks, Destroyer OS!
It may be useful to add the info about insulation on the board to your documentation. Thanks again
