I had been confused, because you wrote per channel, Tibi.

Just I tried, very well really very well job guys! My congrats!

A minor bug as I see it: When you are in zoom mode and select another input this goes well but light stills on all the time and there is no any zoom until you pressed any up/down volume or mute key, after that this returned to normal operation.

Thanks ! Danzup is codemaster. 😀

Now you can comfortably perform A/B tests with your audiophile friends. 😉

Regards,
Tibi

Updated the firmware here. I can't access the "Tube" option with the new firmware still (it just does not appear?).

Also another minor bug: when switching inputs (the volume per input works!) there is a bug when you switch (at least with + and - with more than 2 inputs). Occasionally, the input will be muted and you need to volume up/down once to get it to play again.

With regard to the diode modification, I tried stacking the diodes and I get a weird volume control function where the volume goes down sometimes (I suspect two diodes reduce too much voltage for my setup). Back to one diode and working again... this time I ordered the wrong part I think... this time I got 1n4007G (I don't remember the G bit 😛)... in any case the resistance is now ~10Mohm versus the ~14kohm I had between the relay and c15

Hi Tibi,

Thanks for clearing that up. Is there some documentation for the delay function? It sounds like I need to do some additional hardware connections for the delay?

With regard to the minor bug. If you change channels with Input+ (doesn't matter how many times), adjust the volume of one of the other inputs by 1 or 2dB then move back with Input- (the same number of times back)... Input 1 will be muted (or really really soft) even though it says the volume is normal. We need to hit Vol +/- to get sound back.

I confirm this behavior to auto signal level btw inputs.
For example, if you set the input1 to 33 that has 0.210mV (1KHz sinusoidal -20dB) and set the input2 to 37 that has 0.213mV also.

If you are doing changes directly these inputs, you must press one time the Vol+ and Vol- or Vol- and Vol+ respectively, to take the right level.

I have a weird issue. The 4.0.1 firmware was working properly last night and earlier today... but just suddenly the controller shut down. On powering up the controller started working in "reverse." It starts up as -63dB as per normal but the moment you adjust volume it goes to full volume and as you increase the dB level the actual volume decreases.

Reflashing to 4.0.1 doesn't fix the issue. I just reflashed to 4.0 and normal function is back. I'm not quite sure what happened.

Edit: I'm glad I was testing this with my headphones!

So far we can not replicate this.
