You guys are going to really like this preamp, finally tried out my Hypnotize / LightSpeed attenuator powered with a Salas mini-shunt this past weekend. The thing is fantastic in my modest system (Bluray source, AKSA 55W, NHT XDS's, powered sub). It's transparent, neutral, and very dynamic sounding. Whatever it's doing (or isn't), it must be working, I can barely tear myself from that listening seat...
oh, forgot to mention, built mine with the Takman carbon films in the audio section, Elna Silmic II's (100 uF), Nichicon KW's (4700 uF) PRP's everywhere else.

I just received my boards today. It took a very long time.
Too bad, it was not summer, I could have gone and pick them up myself. I have often been in Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, Wells, Ogunquit. But my wife knows better Kittery, wonder why?

😀I NEVER go to Oquinquit in the summer. Traffic just doesn't move. Got to be careful to not to drop your wallet around there. Got to kick it all the way to Wells as they say.😛 Not judging of course!

The red Resistors are PRP, metal film.
The pink one's are Takman Rex, carbon firm.
It is not for me to decide the sonic difference 🙂
