Thanks

So good ! I am speechless 🙂
Nice! Looking forward building my own 🙂
Then adapting to 10 µF 50V film caps in 5 mm pitch still is possible. They just need a few mm more space than electrolytic caps as they are wider. I really do not understand the design goal when using tubes and precious JFETS together with the worst of the worst in caps.
Which version of Wima caps are these please?
For the record the Silmic-II caps specified in the BOM, and by Nelson himself just sound Fantastic. I can suggest Wima MKS2 (Mouser 505-MKS2B051001NKSSD). Should fit the PCB without too much trouble.
BTW just three GB members Shipping cost payments are missing. All the others were shipped. Getting there...

Algar, or anybody else....
Do you have a BOM or project list at Mouser you could share the link at all?

The BOM I gave to every member has parts from Mouser, with most of the part number.
I haven't done on order from Mouser with all the parts, they came mostly from my stock. That includes most of the Vishay resistors. BTW they Vishay were just a suggestion, you can use the resistor you prefer.
To order easily the CMF55 resistor, enter into the Mouser search engine 'resistor CMF55'. You'll get diectly to the value selection page, select the value according to the BOM, and you'll see all the option.
Problem with these resistors is that they may appear in more than one version, 0.1, 0.5, 1%, etc, and by the time you order the part, the specified part number into the BOM may not be stock. By searching by values, you can always see what is in stock, and get the part right away.

Awesome! Thanks!
I was afraid about the resistors because of the freedom of choice, but now it all makes sense!

Good. Anyway you have my email, any question you have, don't hesitate to let me know. I'll try to help you the best I can 😉

Is there another inductor useable in place of the Easton version in the bom as niether Farnell or RS stock this part?
Is there a UK builder who is ordering from Mouser?

I ordered all my parts from Arrow.com. Free worldwide delivery and some parts came from NL.
I found a similar spec one that might(?) be ok - UK Farnell site is broken for me at the moment, but see if you can look for this one:
Bournes SRP1245A-R47M - Power Inductor (SMD), 470 nH, 38 A, Shielded, 65 A, SRP1245A Series
@avtech23 thanks I will check out Arrow.
Farnell are currently out of stock of the alternative.

Actually when looking for CMF55 on mouser all they have is the 1/2W version. I guess I can always install the resistors upright if they don't fit...

**I hate this lock on the editing after x minutes, my apologies for triple posting.
When SW is in the middle, is power off to the Nutube (some kind of standby mode) or I'd be better wiring a switch on the mains live after the IEC connector to turn it off?
