Bare wire is even better... but you have to be careful with routing.

karma,
Great looking amp! I put your pictures in my gallery here:
http://www.briangt.com/gallery/nigc-karma
I like the wooden front, along with the simple knob.
If anyone else has pictures of their gainclones built with my boards, feel free to e-mail them to me, and I will add them to my gallery. (just use the below link to e-mail me a message, and I can mail you back my direct address)

How are the European orders doing? Can't wait to get started on the project... 🙂
How is the distortion figures of the LM3875 at different voltage inputs? I do not need a lot of power, just as clean a sound as possible.
Also I found a very nice toroid at farnell:
http://dk.farnell.com/jsp/endecaSearch/partDetail.jsp?SKU=4334711&N=401
Price translates to approx. 57$
Seems very cheap for a sealed toroid. But I really don't know about the voltage...?
Hope someone can guide me :0)

Sounds expensive to me. The UK price (Farnell) comes out at around 37 USD! 😉

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
