This is the biggy if it hasn't come back the treatments working (so only have to suffer 3 years of insertions as that's how long the first course of treatment is!) if it has come back then I will have basically become a walking talking mummy, with a tube🙂

No, its far more insidious. It's salemanship. They TELL you that it will be better one way around and carefully explain what you will hear. I do wonder if they don't employ mindfsck artists like Derren Brown to help with the script.

(aside Brown is exceedingly clever https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPsUJbJaKhE see here about 10 mins in him playing guess who with audience members. But I worry that one day someone he has programmed goes completely postal).

🙁 I was actually trying to be witty, the blunt was a reference to these guys are not that sharp, blunt being a colloquial Northern UK term for harsh....
I do agree about how he comes across, some revues I have read he also comes across as a true master who graces his acolytes with his wisdom and supper hearing abilities.........
