A WAW, Pluvia 7 in a mid transmission line and Monacor SPH 8M, 46 litre bass reflex. 1st order xover at about 350 Hz.
So (no offense intended) not really a full range...isn't there a forum for non-full rangers?
None taken. If you look at the threads in the Full Range Forum there are a lot of discussions and designs involving WAW/FAST systems. There are also quite a few WAWs posted in the pics forum also ones with tweeters added. So its in the spirit of full range.
Thanks. I cheated.😀 The sides are gloss grey Ikea kitchen wall cabinet side panels. Not cheep but worth it. The fronts are matt black leatherette. So no painting or varnishing involved.🙂
The top box is removable so I can try out different full range units. Should be enough space to even add a tweeter.😉

How did you manage the clean looks with options for a removable top box?
The side panels are attached to the lower box, the top box just slots in between.
I think the white would look better with a darker wood. Maybe you could stain the wood. With the lighter wood a darker vinyl cover perhaps. I have a Fostex FE103en also. Will be trying it out with my WAW at some point but I would like to build a better dedicated box for it such as this one. I like the look of the large front firing mouth. I currently have mine in small BR boxes. The mid-range on the these Fostex are superb imho.

Doesn't show up well in the photo but the sides are actually gloss grey. But thanks anyway. We'll be changing the TV stand and shelves at some point.
