Hello all! I tool a quick look on freeDSP software, and i don't see "classic" channel mixing console. It is not intended to such use, or i am not seeing something obvious? 🙂 Thank You!
@Arne: Sorry for my late reply. I was very busy. I think it is the best you contact the developer of the freeUSBi via freedsp.cc. I am using a USBi from Analog. With that one SigmaStudio communicates with Aurora without trouble.

Is it possible to make a 7.1 with several active crossover on each channel?
E.g 7 x 4 + 4 channels by using 4 freeDSP-aurora DSP
Very nice project that could solve a lot of the modern DIY problems
Yes, you may have to hack the software a bit for it. But you can do that, yes.

That is because you only see the 8channels plugin when you run auverdionControl in standalone mode. DSP plugins can define channel mixing. E.g. the HomeCinema71 does a downmix for the subwoofer.

Looking forward to the store opening on 31st October. Will linkwitz transform be possible in auverdionControl?
For linkwitz transform you will need an biquad filter.

Could also be done with IIR filter, this is how Sigma studio works

Great to see the store open on this one - when will "AddOn C" be available?

Also, shipping will presently only allow to Germany - I need shipping to the UK.
Thanks

Seems to be no way of progressing with an order outside of Germany at the moment - I guess they’re busy trying to launch the product
Hi,
I am working hard on options for international buyers. It turned out that for every country the legal stuff has to be worked out separately. 🙁
And then we have the special case UK, because nobody knows what will happen with Brexit.

Hi,
I am using Naja DSP and I am waiting for the promised MAC support since 4 years......i am very impressed by Aurora DSP project, so it could be a solution for my soon active speaker projects alternatively to the new hypex plate amplifiers or mini dsp.
hypex advantage is automatic input source detection (analog & digital), will it be possible with aurora ?
regards
murphy

There was some talk on the Audiophilestyle forum that the owner of Najda DSP / WAF Audio who was on a motorcycle trip and had an accident - I’m not sure if you’ll see anything more from them and the website is no longer live. I hope the guy is ok, but it seems as though auverdion is the answer for now.
@murphy: Although this is not implemented yet, it is possible to make something like that. SigmaStudio has a function block for threshold detection.
