Noted. Will check offset again in a few days.
Will add locking washers.
They won't go anywhere in that time.

I use brass standoffs and solder them to the PCB.
You can then put (copper) spring washer and SST nyloc nuts on top of the cable lugs.

Someone asked by PM whether I would sell him a J2.
I don't build amps for money. I build them for fun.
You should buy one from Nelson, not from me, or anyone else for that matter.
And then some others want to buy Semisouths.
We still have some.
But we shall not be organising any more GB's till the Corona is over.
Which will most likely be quite a while from now.
In the meantime, you could build a UDNeSS with Mouser parts, for fun.
Stay healthy,
Patrick
Hi Patrick.
Yes it was me asking about buying an amp. I have not built an amp in 38 years so I am a bit unsure of my ability. But I will give it a try. If you have some SemiSouth I like to buy. For two mono blocks. I guess I need for 4 channels if in bridge mode per mono block
Many thanks in advance and sorry for offending you asking for an amp.
Couple of pics...
Nice boards. Did you make them or did I miss a group buy. I have the long skinny but those would be easier in my chassis. Otherwise I can sure make do.
Nice build and thanks,
Russellc
That is what I gathered, but some here have remarkable ability. Probably would not be worth it to them to make such a tiny number of boards I would want.
I can use my others. Just really liked the compact size of that board.
I've got the output devices. I have had them for some while as well as the correct Toshiba Jfets.
Been waiting to build this for some while.

I can DIY 0.5mm pitch SMD PCBs manually.
Even double sided with Masks.
But silk screen just for 2 boards ?
Show me one which is pure DIY.

That board is IMHO technically much better than the long one in many respects.
But of course I am totally biased.

Boards produced by jlcpcb.com.
Very easy to upload. You will see what boards will look like before submitting.
Very fast and they follow up if they see a problem.
5 boards under $20 shipped, if I recall correctly.

I just saw pics of a board that I found interesting and asked. Sorry if that somehow offended. I have never made boards before only purchased them from DiyAudio store, Zenmods, Teabag and a few others.
Thanks for info,
Russellc

Wow, that's great news,I had no idea it was that cheap, or that they would do such a small quantity. Up load both files from the post you directed me to?
Obviously I know nothing about board construction. I will follow along and check out the site you provided.
Thanks,
Russellc
Yeah, so it's a prototype quantity in which you get 5 boards.
I have a spare V1 board. It has a minor silk-screen error.
There are two R3. In V2, one R3 was changed to R33.
If you can find another person with a spare board, I can send you my spare for free.
Maybe someone here ordered a prototype set from same place and is willing to send you one. Just a thought.

You mean just the number label is wrong (silkscreen ) but electrically fine, right?
I thought I would just buy minimal amount, and offer those extras to others here.

Yes, electrically it's fine. I made no trace changes.
It's just one labeled resistor.
Whomever PM me first with their address and email, I will send them the single board.
