F5m kit

Free Offer: Vinyle sticker offer for F5m builders.

I have 8 of these vinyl stickers left over from when I made a copy of @AdamThorne 's design with his input. I used one on my first F5m build and the rest have been sitting around. You can see there are some minor differences in the 4 designs. One per person please. Take your pick at which you'd prefer. They can be cut up to lay them out however you like.

These are shipped free to anyone in the US via a standard envelope. First come, first serve. There are 4 qty in black, and 4qty in shiny silver. Send me a PM if you would like one.

I like the F5M design a lot... very creative
I take no credit for the design as it was all @AdamThorne . Cudos go to him. I agree it looks really nice.

I simply am lucky enough to have a cheap vinyl cutter (Silhouette Cameo 4 Plus) and it's easier to make multiple all at once due to all the "weeding" efforts required with making vinyl stickers, so hence the extras.

Lol...now if I just had my dropping resistors...(LED)...and my holes drilled for them...(going to about 2mm or so from the front...then using a 1mm to go the rest of the way thru creating a very small hole for them to shine thru.)...and my power switch hole...the face plate would be complete...

I guess the primary reasons were that the zinc plated carbon steel is much thicker fender washer, therefore stiffer, and also 1/4 of the price of stainless. Also those ship free from Bezos Bookstore and show up the next day. All my amps operate indoors and the washers do a great job. Is there some reason I'm not aware of that makes the thinner stainless steel option a better choice?
I use stainless steel everywhere on my assemblies, it stays clean and corrosion-free

Makes perfect sense. I don't expect any corrosion on the zinc plated washers in my lifetime since they are indoors in a controlled environment and not subject to abrasion from use like in an engine. I also have stainless steel washers on hand (Everite 1/8" x 1" from Home Depot), but I can bend those with my fingers so I went with the cheaper, thicker, more rigid option for holding FETs in place. I'm sure overall either option works nearly equally well. I was worried there was some other reason to use stainless I wasn't aware of.
