I am setting up a 'fotosession' right now, so that you can see my sink's
And no i havent designed my chassis yet...
Thanx guy's 🙂

Yep... who knows ? 😕 ..... You can see, that it would be easy to make the thing with 3 irfp240 on one and 3 irfp9240 on the other... But i as i said before havent constructed anything yet.

I have seen something like those heatzinks before, used fore windmill purpose - any windmills standing still in your area ?cviller said:Who do you have to kill to get such nice heatsinks???![]()
😀
I usually cut them down like timber😀 I think I saw some of those heatsinks somewhere😎 Nice they are, but they wont hold the 40 output devices required for the AX.5 I thinkROVSING said:

I doubt it... but if some day you see someone climb one of those windmills with a screwdriver, it might be me!

Can you get a larger baseplate and bolt all the fets onto that plate for thermal coupling instead - you'll get a larger dissipating area as well

..FET........FET....
Sort of like that (if you can make out my crappy drawing)

That is actually a really cool idea Twitchie😎 That would also make it possible to do 4 channels in one chassis! Those heatsinks can dissipate the heat, dont worry.

Mount your amplifier on the top of the windmill instead - alternative fancooling - we have to think about our environment, yuo might have to make the connectionwires a little longercviller said:

Listen to my dog foolin' around, I better teach you some manners

HeHe don't bother as long as the signal is balanced... 😀 Might be a good idea!
I would like a little more explanation about the

Is is supposed to be seen from above ?... looks like a good idea, but i don't get the hole idea through ?

Well, if you give up on the idea of killing me and tell a little about how big and how many you need.....I will look into it when I get back home from Copenhagen.

Stacking anyone ? 😉

Steen, when will you learn? Size does matter 😀

Yeah, so they say🙂 8 of those would make for a serious amp😉
Where is that confused chap off to? Get that dog back where it belongs😀Ratata suddenly disappeared
BTW have anybody thought of a mini F4, AKA a low voltage version with smallish fets and only one pair. My thought is that it ought to be possible to get rid of most of the relatively high icc of the IRFP240's by using something like IRF630 / 9630 instead?
