Oh, no @e3k ! Robert Schroeder issued Computer Voice on Vinyl in 1984 (I have it, of course - along with the CD issued later that I bought directly from him).
The album that made discover him in 1982 was Galaxie-Cygnus-A, one of his greatests :

Perhaps best use of a fire truck in a song. In all seriousness though it's pretty excellent stuff. It comes as a two cd set with each cd having a single long track, of which this is the shorter one. I bought it for the first one, but this one is equally as good.
