hehehhe Evette.... we have already a lot of amplifiers offered in group buy
Precision had group buy in the past and more than 50 kits where sold in group buy organized my Nico Daneel (Nordic)
Well... Japanese use to say:
- "Others must sell too" .... means we must left some room to others.
Dear Odissey.... i do think will not have that increase in performance.

Carlos

Boys, i strongly suggest you to go to the MKIII-Hx group buy
Because it is awesome, it is cheap, it is powerfull and it will be produced in small quantity..other forum will produce 60 or 70 boards only...and out may produce 30 or 40...so..small series.
I have some reasons, obvious reasons to explain you..think about that:
- " In the future these circuits will have the value of relics ... not only mine but all the plates produced in small numbers within this DIY forum, they will be rarities, antiquities and treasures .... amplifiers are manufactured by the thousands .... we do 50 or less kits for each model series .. little gems for their rarity, precious by the fact that you built, which creates extra value for your descendants .. one day an amplifier may be worth a lot of money for your children and grandchildren because it will be part of DIY forums, audiophile designs, will be part of the history of audio ... I'm old ... within 10 or 20 years I will be with the angels (or demons) .. then it will be worth even more, then think about it a bit."
regards,
Carlos

Carlos, I wouldn't hesitate to build another one of your designs, but the fact of the matter is that I am broke. 😱
So, I can not join in on the fun. Its too bad, because I have 10 pairs of some output transistors I ripped from a Carver pro amp, and I could use them on this. But, to aquire the kind of transformer required for that is another story. The boards look appealing. Maybe next time.
Give a try using a single output pair..use old stuff... used parts
build over a piece of wood...use nails to solder on them..use telephone wire to interconnect (ADSL cable wires).... try it man.... you will like it.
No one is more broken or hucked than uncle charlie..i am unemployed, old, damaged, operated, fat, i have a very small money man...what i use to do? ... i use to dismount one to assemble another one.
heheheheheh

Finally finish my Amp.
It's done after a slow progress. Some pics to share.
Everything's fine except that there's a "humming sound" whenever i connect a source i.e. ipod, headphone out from mini-component. Any help to get rid the noise will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
oh by the way I tried to full blast the amp but I can feel the wharfedale diamond 9 that i'm using is gonna give up, damn LOUD amp it shaking small glasses in the tiny room the bass is way too much !

Nice work Junnie...board looks great.
What amplifier is this?.... looks great man!
Install transformer center tap screwed, fixed into the chassis..this gonna be your ground..then run wires from there to your boards, connectors, potentiometer metalic cases and so on.

Carlos

Dear Carlos,
I did the suggested grounding scheme you mentioned above the humming is now low but still i can hear humming sound a bit.
Odd thing is when i remove either left or right with one channel working the humming sound is not there.
by the way I'm not using a potentiomenter/volume, amp is directly connected to the source. I'm actually in a hunt for good DIY preamp to control the Amp .
