I am practicing in my head of how I a going to explain to my wife that I need another power amp, a very special amp. It make perfect sense to all of us but I am sure it will sounds insane to my wife. I don't even have a set of appropriate speakers for this beautiful amplifier. So now I need the VFET amp and speakers.

I've run ACAs into LX-minis, Frugel-Horns and Focal Micro-Utopias. So for the sake of your marriage I think you can safely postpone the new speakers, for a while anyway.

This is exciting indeed. Love to hear a direct comparison with my upcoming SET amp that should put out similar power ... once I squeeze out some time to finish it.
Well, I've been a member since Jan 2013, and this is my first post. So, I basically have no chance of winning. But dag! I sure would love to! I'm building a pair of GR-Research NX_Studio monitor speakers and this would make an excellent match for them!
