It is similar in Marin, bluish overcast during the day, and orange glow in afternoon. Last week I drove all the way to Seattle, and back and I passed through Shasta area in the North. It was brutal 110 F heat, no wonder that fires are happening. Here is the shot of Mt. Shasta but without fires.
