I know exactly how you feel!

In the military, on payday, we used to say the "eagle sh*t"
The "Pig" variation is pretty funny. I have to remember to use at work tomorrow!

I think that we've been behaving bad, the apple of Eva is now the gainclone, and God-pass has sent us out of eden.
So.

High/low Xover
As a name I would offer:
The ZEN PASSOVER.
At the every least this will confuse the non-believers.

Re: High/low Xover
Most likely it will be Passover (of 2006) when it will finally be posted on the passdiy site. 😉
And the other Nelson optimistic ETAs should be scaled based on that.
Nelson, if the Zen5 has cascodes I'll buy the kit. What the heck, I see where this is going. The next big Passlabs production will be an XA with cascodes once again doubling the number of output mosfets.
....just how many IRFP244 did you buy?

Sounds like we need to thank the rest of the crew
too... so, thanks Karen and Wayne and the rest
of the Pass DIYers. It's amazing you guys find time
for all of this and your real job too.
I think the crossover will have really nice
Positve Karma just seeping out of it 🙂
adjust your Karma with the Pass X-Over 😉
not on a negative note, but i was surprised to
see that the commercial crossover has been
discontinued... 🙁

Huh? The XVR1 is doing quite well, thank you. Perhaps there is some confusion relating to a closeout on product which featured external supplies with sheet metal in the chassis. We replaced them with machined aluminum by demand, but it did create a short term bargain on the older supply chassis.
Crossovers have never been a top seller, and we content ourselves with the knowledge that the limited quantities are typically accompanied by expensive amps and preamps. More to the point, the product exists because we had a personal need for them.

Well on the Pass Labs Home page between the X2 and Xono
there's a title of: No longer in production...
so it's a little confusing, i thought it meant everything below the
sentence, since i knew the D1 was out of production. I guess
that's referring to the X2, since there is now a X2.2 ?
well, i'm glad to see it's still available 🙂
now i have no exscuse, i guess i'll have to buy one
