DIY Proac Center speaker

The tweeter is not shielded. It is quite small and doesn't seem to affect a TV too much.

Could be for a couple of reasons. Earlier I tested to put the tweeter alone close to my Panasonic (different from UrSv's Thompson), which didn't like that treatment very much.

But with the tweeter mounted in the wooden box, bitumen padded on the inside, the 18S8535 close to it + 25mm of MDF in between, it doesn't affect the TV (at least not UrSv's Thompson) at all.

Could it be, that the wood and the bitumen is "weakening" the magnetic field? (flame warning) Could it be that the massive shielding for the 18S8535 is affecting also the tweeter? I'm kind of confused, since I was expectin UrSv's TV to look like a rainbow when I got there this afternoon.

Best,

As Swede mentions I use the standard tweeter and can see no changes on the screen so I'll keep it the way it is until needed elsewise.

The magnetic field of the motor assembly (magnet) is shielded by the steel cap that they put on. The woofer shield does not really affect the tweeter the way it is mounted now.
