Prototype board with parts painted over.
parts are soldered into the copper side...this is the simple way i use to do (since 1969)

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
I will turn the board 90 degrées and will produce new screw holes to change power
transistor position.
I will not use 2 pairs into the output..not needed...i will use those power transistors as drivers because they are high gain units (180) and also they are matched.
The heatsink will have only 4 power transistors and a BD139 as thermal sensor...maybe high current CCS (to drivers) will go to the heatsink if needed.
It is ugly...but will became better near future...doing... slowly but doing.

I am better folks..thank you..doing slowly but doing things.
The simulator is Multisim 10
I do not use pré amplifiers.
I have worked a little bit more into the amplifier...now looking better... and not finished.... construction is into 30 percent only.

Boys, i am not an arrogant man, so i do not know if those things i am posting have
interest to you or not.
My control is the hit counter..... when i start some new subject i use to memorize the hit counter number and then i can evaluate 48 hours after starting, if people is visiting.
But the quality of this hits i cannot know....if people is reading with interest, if they will be following and reading the stuff or not...if they are perceiving as boring or something already knew without any importance.
I would like, from time to time, that some of you enter and say.
- "I am reading, it is interesting to me"
This is the way i will have to continue the method to tell you everything i am doing or not to continue..... step by step, or not to do this way.
Those conversations, about the Evolution project, is something that can continue or not.... it will depends your interest, and also and more important, if the unit results fine...if results sounding good.
As soon as i can feel it good and having some interest to forum folks (the main target is you,..... as i am satisfied with my Dx Amplifier Standard..i do not need anything better than that...naturally i am a little bit biased alike all human beeings... ich bin nichst ein Robot).... as soon as i perceive it is ready to go, then i will open a special thread dedicated to the Dx Evolution.
You do not need to be publishing long things about the amplifier or to thank me.... just send, from time to time, direct forum mail saying...i like the subject...i am reading.
I need the feedback not to be boring to you, folks, with uninteresting things.
I am not so proud as people may imagine... i am not sure if people likes those things i use to publish or if they think this is garbage...i do with the most deep of my heart...but this is sometimes not enougth...must be good to interest forum folks.
Watch the picture, big fat old Charlie is friendly and not one of those proud idiots we have...maybe idiot, but not proud...i am humble into the correct sizing...i know i can be good and bad alike everyone in this workd...more humble than a proud idiot.

I think i will be adjusting and listening this amplifier today

Even before you mentioned your intention to search for the perfect amp, the unobtainium, etc....i've been following your thread, sorry for being just a recipient and only from the receiving side most of the time. The perfect amp may not really be "obtainable" but at least we could find something "satisfyable", to give us human satisfaction however temporary.
Please keep on going with what you do best or else this whole forum will be a lot less interesting!
As a reminder, our health and life is much much valuable than an ultimate, flawless, perfect amp.

In the reality, there you have a very normal and standard connection
the same you can see in thousands and thousands of amplifiers...the first transistors base to ground biasing resistance and the Radio Frequency "eater" capacitor to ground.
It is normal there... in the reality there's an electrical continuity there, and this is what we want to join base with base resistance together the base to ground RF filter capacitor.

Thank you Tinitus...... i have assembled boys
Now i have to measure resistance from plus to ground and from minus to ground and search for open connections and shorts.
Also will have to check if all parts are into the circuit, if nothing was missed.
Will measure all resistances to see if they really are the correct ones and will check all capacitors to see if they are correct too.
I will check all transistors, to be sure they are correct of the place they are soldered.
I will check diodes too...well...tripple check to be done... tomorrow.
Now will be with my family.

attached..... this is the CCS to the differential amplifier at your left.... at your rigth the CCS that will feed current to the automatic bias circuit.
The amplifier has more two CCS...one to feed the NPN driver with 25 miliamperes and the other to feed the PNP driver with current.
And this is what make it different from the Dx Amplifier, the standard amplifier from the Dx Corporation (heheheh)
