I have an issue with Daphile recognizing my Synology NAS drives. Not sure this was answered since this thread is long.
Under Daphile storage setting , both drives always appear perfectly connected, of the internal 8TB drive inside the NAS and the USB one that connected externally to the NAS.
But in Daphile file manager, there is only one drive listed either the NAS or the USB one.
Do a re-scan, USB drive appears in file manager, and another re-scan, the NAS drive appears, but never showing both drives at the same time.
The USB drive is a NTFS, 2TB WD.

192.168.xx.xx:/volume1/private/Music -> as nfs-Type
This means I can see the NAS directly as a drive. Does that help?
Thanks RushHH
Not sure I described my issue properly :
The NAS has been working fine with Daphile for long time. I recently connected an USB hard drive to the NAS externally.
Now, only one drive can be seen in Daphile's file management, However, both drives are showing connected in Storage settings.
The drive that can be seen in file management will work fine , but after a re-boot , it disappears and the other drive is showing up ,
Both drives just do not work at the same time.

Hello guys. I’m brand new here. I’ve just installed Daphile on a Asus Eee PC. Seems all fine (added local file as well as Qobuz subscription) but I don’t see any “usb audio” under audio devices, only “ALC269VB analog” and “hdmi 0”. Is it normal until I plug a dac into the usb or should show up in any case? I’ve no dac yet and want to know if I can go this path, or need to buy a dac+streamer instead. Thanks.

Quick help please.
Daphile installation ended on boot error:
shim_lock protocol not found
you need to load the kernel first
On older PC I changed UEFI to CSM and works well, but on newer MSI motherboard is possible UEFI only...
Thanks for help.

Hi again. All works fine, but I wonder how to reorder (move items) of the playlist on a tablet. On PC (and even on LG tv) I can click and drag, but on iPad cannot find the right gesture to obtain the same results. Thanks.
Is there a kind of "support forum" for Daphile? Cause I'm facing problems trying to install it on another machine and Google doesn't help at all. First attempt from flash drive it worked but assigned same IP address of the other machine. So I turned it off., next boot I pressed F1 to set a fixed IP, but then stuck on "waiting for network connection". Since then always stuck in this way, and, lately, not even asking anymore to press F1. I created a fresh new bootable drive with the latest version, same results. 😒
EDIT: a different flashdrive did the trick of having it up and running on the second machine.
Since I found the way, I post it, maybe will be useful to someone else.Hi again. All works fine, but I wonder how to reorder (move items) of the playlist on a tablet. On PC (and even on LG tv) I can click and drag, but on iPad cannot find the right gesture to obtain the same results. Thanks.
How to sort tracks on Daphile with a tablet: Tapping and holding on a song artwork it becomes semitransparent and "on top". You can then scroll the list beneath and "paste it" where desired by tapping on the other track you want to be played after it.
To see the effect it sometimes requires to refresh the page though.
Hi,
I updated to the latest Daphile V24. I am having a problem with configuring my subscription for YouTube service on Daphile which I am a subscriber of. Can anyone here help me? If so, I will show the details here. BTW I use YouTube a lot.

Hello everyone. New to the forum but been studing Volumio vs Daphile for a while.
Got a nice USB DAC and found that Tidal support is suscription based on Volumio so I discarded it. Will use Daphile.
I plan to use Daphile for all my music needs. Sadly, I have a really low power pc (Atom X5 with 2GB RAM) with an USB DAC, so I can't figure out if REALTIME KERNEL is better or worse, and in which case I use it (or not). Not even the official website, faq or readme says anything about it, and I can't seem to find any official forum or place to chat/discuss about Daphile save for THIS thread. Help!

If you have a weak end point, you may install another Daphile on a fast machine and use it as server for decoding purpose. This server instance could be on a virtual machine. You don't need a dedicated physical computer for it.
