Crossfire vr4000d

I need the event timing, not the waveform. I first need you to tell me if the r-r oscillation starts immediately (precisely when the PS starts to oscillate) or after a short delay.

I don't know if there will be a fix for this or if there is even a problem. The amp may start normally in a vehicle installation with proper wiring and a good battery.

Correct,
There are four bipolar caps, one terminal connects to the positive rail and the other terminal connects to the negative rail.
In the third pic, you can prolly see the traces from the bipolar caps lead to the negative side of where the rail was unsoldered from.

I’m wanting to vary the values of the cap (c05) and resistor (r02) connected to pin 4 and ground of the 494 to try to get a delay on start up.
Do you think this will work?

Older thread.
@ goviboo Did you ever get this amp working normal again?
I have the same amp in for repair, goes into protect without load. With the LM339 pin 3 - 4 shorted it will start up, but with >10A idle and all mosfets (PS and amp) are heating up. So I pulse the remote a few seconds...
Do you know normal idle current?

Most likely you'll need to start a new thread and possibly reference this.
What Vytautas1 has stated is correct, 5/6A idle.
This amplifier's PS and output class D section both start together, without a strong input power supply its gonna take the amplifier into protect almost instantaneously. For this particular amp I was fortunate enough for it to need a recap, without the rail caps the amp would start normally with a 10A power supply.
