Secondary Side Regulation in Flyback SMPSs (TL431 break down voltage sized for specific 110VAC input and DC rated out?)
Hey drMordor.
Mainly in theory and design. I haven't done alot of bench tests but there are numerous examples of actual built and designed SMPS power supply designs available.
Just trying to figure out your power supply design topology as built that you have built at part of your TPA3255 board.
If you offered just the TPA3255 board by itself without the built in power supply there would be less dissecting for determination to purchase.

I own all DrMordor modules from TPA3251 to TPA3255, old version without PSU, new version without PSU and last version with LLC PSU integrated PSU. I tested many many TPA325X boards...and many Hypex Ncore modules + Pascal Modules...
The version with integrated PSU is the best one, especially the one with the OP Amps MC33272. In my ears this module is so good, especially concerning its exceptional soundstage, that it brings my Hypex Ncore N500MP double mono to its knees. Same verdict when compared to my double Mono Pascal class D amps ! This DrMordor module is a must have !
I own a plethora of amps and have to admit DrMordor did an exceptional job! THANK YOU DOC !
Some of my amps.

+1 for drMordor "all-in-one" TPA3255 board with PFFB
I have been using class D for several years (TPA, Icepower and Hypex) and for my ears this board has the best overal sound and presentation
My previous best was TPA3255EVM with by-passed op-amps, no PFFB
also good but more forward in your face sound
I know that taste is different for every person, just try it and decide for yourself
Enjoy...
😉

12 x 10 x 3,5 cm³ cased TPA3245 Amplifier for car use. Weight is 306g.
Goal was relatively compact size, high-level inputs, 12V operation with remote control via ignition.
Two of them are now used inside a Ford Focus MK2 as "in-line" amplifiers. Kept the original head-unit, switched speakers in the door-boards. Left the original cabling all as it was and just plugged those two between the original headunit and the existing speaker connections.
Works a charm and provides more than enough power for proper audio.
Step up to 28V is being done via 2 LM5122 in 2 Phase mode. Also generating 15V via LMR15410 and using LM2940s for 12V for the TPA3245 and 12V for the NE5532 input buffers.
Using a Infineon BTS70021EPPXUMA1 for switching the 12V.
Plastik shrouds are a bit how you're doing, but it's good enough.

Last 3E Audio finished Amplifier TPA3255 (8 ohms version 44V)
Here some pictures so you can have an idea about its size VS AIYIMA TPA3251 VS DrMordor TPA3255
I did not test it yet...
But at first sight + and - :
- Seems well made and solid, compact if you consider the integrated PSU ++
- Quasi resonant PSU (here 44V 8 ohms version)
- Elna Audio Grade caps for buffer ++
- OP amps DIP8 Socket ++ (update OPA1602 in pictures with a copper film)
- Chengx Power caps -- (4x1000uf)
- Noiseless Fan +- (useful ?)
- CODA inductors (not sure about this, unmarked ?) --
- QC3008 Aptx BT chip ++
- No power cord provided --
- Anti pop protection ++
Next step : Audio test VS DrMordor VS Aiyima A04 (Tilear Rev 2.1)

Those Elna caps look like fake elna caps, looking at all the larger caps brand, it would not surprise me. Still should work well but long term reliability will be unknown. If you like the amplifier, I suggest you recap it with branded caps but make sure you use the proper type at the proper place.

Hi,
3E Audio is known to provide genuine products. I don't think so.
I don't think they would sully their reputation by the way.
I think they saved money on Power caps for sure.
Let me give a test now... as you probably know I own almost all TPA325X amplifiers, see my previous post. I have a very good basis to compare now )

Considering DIY Audio is such a great resource and I'm grateful for all the information provided this is my somewhat limited attempt to give back. Having read a lot, I decided to build some DIY mono block amps, to the intiated this build is simple, however as someone new to this field it took me a while to research and complete.
The build is consists of connex electronics SMPS300RS and 3E Audio TPA3255-1CH-480W amplifier modules and some eBay cases sourced from China found on eBay. Overall I'm really impressed with the cost vs performance ratio. Im using a PI4 feeding a S.M.S.L Sanskrit 10th DAC into KEF LS50's. With an ear pressed to the speakers there is a feint hum, I recommend the combination.
