5200Плохо, я имел в виду только BJT, но в Индии они становятся очень дорогими, чтобы доставлять их по цене приземления.
Поэтому я искал местные индийские сайты и нашел несколько подлинных эквивалентов 2SC/2SA - https://www.electroncomponents.com/2SA1943-A1943-Power-Amplifier-Transistor?search=MJL4281 .
Yes need 2 pieces of 2SC5200 NPN per each amp board in this design.5200
Thanks
Yes thimios, they do provide genuine stuff and I have got from them many a times.Be sure that you will get genuine parts!
Thanks
See post 116. That´s Prasi´s layout.Has anyone used Prasi’s Gerbers from post#108 to make these boards?
My layout works too but I´d say that Prasi´s PCB is better for mounting directly onto the sides of a heatsink.
Hi Prasi,
I went ahead and had the pcb’s made from your Gerbers, they look very good as always. Even though there is no copper traces on the top side, the metal does line the vias so solder will wick through to both sides.👍
I started to gather parts from my bins. My psu plan is to use a 5A, 24vdc SMPS brick feeding a capMx to drop a couple volts and added benefit of its “softstart” characteristic.
@joensd,
I stumbled across this thread from reading a few of your posts about it.
Nice build!

@OldDIY,
I picked a capMx because of its slow ramp up when powered on. This will enable the use of an SMPS without it stumbling in hiccup mode because it sees large capacitance as a dead short.
@prasi,
I’ll probably use a single rail version of Jkuetemann’s Simplified MrEvil/PMI capMx. It works wonderfully. https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/simplified-mrevil-pmi-capacitance-multiplier.241263/
I have MJ’s boards also, I guess it will come down to which ever circuit I have all of the bits and pieces for in my stash.
@Hugh,
Yep, I read the suggestion of adding an inductor which does sound interesting, you know about my MOT hoarding, Hehehe!! But, the simplicity of Lineup’s circuit is what interested me. Besides, I’m planning and gathering parts for a higher power Class AB amp .

RFfilterCL 301 capacitor equivalent to 300 pF
ZobelCZ 0.1 µF
Made some progress on Lineup’s 4Watter. Using Prasi’s pcb layout everything fits nicely. Even enough room to fit a good 5uF polycarb film input cap. The only caps with correct specs in my stash for output was Pani FC, not my favorite.
R10 (R6 Lineups schematic) is a Dale 1K, 1W resistor that was a bit too chubby to fit between the capacitors in case it gets hot, so I installed it on the underside of pcb, along with a FKP2 330pF for CL.
I intend to play around with the gain and installed sockets at R6 for easy swapping.
Currently have a single 3W, 0R68 Pani ERX at R12, we’ll see how hot this amp gets with a bit over 1A bias current.
Next step is to make time for the dreaded chore of drilling/Tapping the heatsinks.

You got to load the speaker output (100R/2W to GND) - output cap can't "hang" in the air .Hmm…
I powered up one channel and I’m getting the same DC voltage at the speaker output as the lower BJT collector to gnd, 10.7vdc
Almost as if the output capacitor is missing?
