I love knifey. That is freaking brilliant.
It's like found art or something. 😀
Makes me think I need to go to a thrift store and see what I can snag there and use as a case.

Is that a plastic rear panel? It doesn't look as though the binding posts are insulated from it.
But I like the layout. Clean, neat and organized.
Copper tube just for cosmetics?

Yes it's a wood rear panel and the copper tubes hide the threaded bars that clamp front to rear..
hey, where do you guys get these amazing enclosures?
like lanchile07's with the exposed heatsinks, i love that.
once my powered advents are done i plan on building some external amps and need enclosures.
id love to find some solid aluminum enclosures with exposed heatsinks.

Well,I am lanchile07! My chassis is from a Broken portal panache amp.I took everything out and I put new things in lol. What you can do is :get an old or broken amp from e-bay and use just the chassis.

What speakers are they? ...trouser flappers or just diddy ones?
Here they are, not so small at 10 stone each!

My first attempt at making a pair of speakers. Fostex 206E full range drivers with Planet 10 phase plugs. Cabinets are the Fostex design for the 208 sigma driver, but are said to be a whole lot better that the design for the 206E. I used Baltic Birch ply which is the recommended product. Wood alone was £250, but all the pieces cut to size for that money.
Finish is four coats of primer/undercoat and four coats of black gloss applied with a foam roller, all 8 coats rubbed down with 1200 wet and dry between coats.
