Thanks!
Wow, I definitely didn't pay that much. The seller is MDFlyelectronics, I dont know if he is still selling them. I paid about $5 per board from that seller.

I've also bought the TPA3110 Sanwu boards from him, which are 30w instead of 60 like the 3118, and honestly I think they sound much better. They seem more clear to my ears, and if you're just running some small bookshelf speakers, they're more than enough.

And if the picture shows a TI tpa3118 and you get laser dot chips delivered, offcourse you can get full refund 🙂
And I know he has the '10s in stock, just checked a minute ago.I've also bought the TPA3110 Sanwu boards from him, which are 30w instead of 60 like the 3118, and honestly I think they sound much better. Consensus 🙂 Closest to consensus probably would be GMarsh Wiener groupbuy boards. GMarsh asks you to think about your speakers befor ordering.
Hmm , I think that consensus was reached when THD+N numbers were published by drmord , of multiple amp boards with expensive power supply and mods. Still our amp won powered by smps and BTL ..
LOL How did you get equal frequency respons for 4 ohm load and 8 ohm load. I remember you would come back on that.

And I will copy you exact words "Yes these (thd+n) look good to me now, very good. "
I think that there seems to be a skew on this thread , sometimes everything is based on measurements and sometimes its not. We do have the best measurements so far of any board available commercially based on 311x ..whitout any mod or expensive psu. This statement is based on many AP tests that are publicly available .
I also know of some modding efforts on our amp that seem to suggest that its possible to further squeeze sound quality (not AP tested) but since I am not directly involved I wont comment further .

The power supply is a really cheap lab supply. 😀
But anyhow, a colleague of mine managed to bring down the THD to about 0.001% at 3.2W into 5R with cheap inductors and at best down to 0.0015% at 30W into 5R with the bigger Wurth inductors.

Really cheap lab supply.... at 130$ on Amazon. We have different understanding of the word "cheap" .
Seems that your colleague was able to get very decent numbers but I was not talking about friends /colleagues/future accomplishments . From your own published data we bested amps using "cheap" lab supply and dual mono .
In any case , I was trying to correct Irribeo , since the 3 of us , plus many more that regularly read this thread , know about the consensus (based on hard data)
@cdsgames
18 march and 22 march I hinted at and posted about what I feel is impossible frequency respons in your measurements of volt+, 22march you said you would get back on that
in your own thread in commercial sector

Irribeo , do you have any data that says consensus is Winner PCB (witch by the way I think its an excellent design) ? Did you ask him for frequency repose graph and other testing data ?
I assume the answer is no. Ok find until you get the data...please man just say the truth how it is, not how it pleases you.
I am out on the subject , wont hijack the thread any further.

Hey guys,
So what is the consensus on best sounding tpa3118d2 board
Available at the moment ?
Scott
Consensus requires many people liking the ampboard above all others, closest to that would be Wiener ampboard.
Thanks for the feedback guys,
But man you guys take it all to personal,
We are all just trying to have a good time listening to some good music
In the words of Rodney King can't we all just get along!

The first batch of the Volt+ didn’t have the correct capacitors (see #1402).
Did anyone who bought a Volt+ from the first batch change the capacitors?
And if yes, by which capacitors did you replace them? And, is there an audible difference in soundquality?

Which Amp is best among these?
Just curious of you guys that have tried these which sounds the best?
Tpa3118 Sanwu pbtl
Tda8932 mono
tda2030a mono
Thanks

It's a lottery unless you have a reliable source of boards. Maybe buy a couple pairs of boards from your favourite auction website.
