BP,
i am just RE- POSTING what i recollected on the FT30 thread about a non cone corrected plan of the FT 30
this variation was done by XOC1 based on his TH18

what are you saying about
Based on the last Pic, S1 and S2 cannot have the same CSA.

It's really tough to model a 5 section horn path in HR with only 4 segments. You should use Vtc/Atc as S1-S2 and S2-S3.
is beyond my paygrade 😁

buy if you can correct or fix the HR model
i am more than happy to see it done !

this was the original PIC

no cut list... but you can use
https://www.cutlistoptimizer.com/

thats what i use to calculate the cut list and minimize the wasted ply

and is easy to do , you are in the USA so the inches model will fit

you need to print... the plan... name all the panels...
and input in the webpage i shared with you
since we know the INTERNAL WIDTH of the cab is 588mm that is 23 1/8″

so the front is
23" 3/16 x 23" 1/8

i made the 1st panel for you
then you keep going with the rest if the internal panels
( panel measurement in the plan ) x ( width)
( panel measurmenet in the plan ) x 23" 1/8"

all the internal panels have the internal width

just the TOP , BOTTOM and BACK panels will change
as the external width that take in account the 18mm or 3/4"

hope this helps

Based on that pic,

S1, S2, and S3 should all have a CSA of 532.73cm2.

L23 should be 27.24cm.

L34 should be 208.05cm + 98.93cm - 27.24cm.

Constant parabolic positive or negative flare horn paths cannot be broken into 5 sections and still have a square or rectangular enclosure.

Hence, single fold (2 sections) or double fold (4 sections) TH's.

The Keystone TH does not have a constant parabolic positive flare horn path. 1 of the 3 sections has to be adjusted to square up the enclosure. The easiest way to do so is to have 1 section a straight flare.

That pic starts with a straight flare section from S1 to S3. S3 to S5 is double fold TH.

I'm not sure , what for sure is the FT30..crescendo made 4 I think, and he loves them, I have the CNC files for the FT30's if you want them and have access to a CNC shop

The plans along with the bracing for 4 FT30's

The driver for it is the B&C 18SW115
Idk if some less capable driver can survive the cabinet.

Also in post #773 - the box is 61cm wide external dimension!

I know it's been over five years since you posted this spacer ring Justin, did you like the 21's in these or find it wasnt necessary?

I acquired an 18LW1400-8 for a great price, very keen to build one of these boxes! This 18Sound driver sims nearly identical to the B&C 18TBW100-8.
I started making a spacer ring a couple weeks ago to try just this.
The 21SW152 & 21DS115 sim similarly to the preferred 18” drivers, but allow much more input power before excursion limit.
