So, the creator, Jack Bybee, is a fraud and his claims of military work and patents are fabricated?
Don't think I have ever seen a patent attributed to him, as to the rest Audio marketing is full of ex military designers, one cable company even employs moonlighting engineers from space programs, the extra mystique adds seductiveness to the marketing and gives a credibility to the way out claims...
As heat.........? Methinks you've just invented the refrigerator 😉Hmm I have just comeup with the concept of the chaos stub where the disorder can be collected and safely disposed of.
or ICs where there line size is so thin you can only have a few electrons jostling around.
Don't know about ICs, I know they are using in silicon via's for the chip stacks, we need Scott or someone more in the know to answer this one, I will look around as my curiosity is piqued.

No the Billshurv Quantum Purifier...🙂
Regarding the resistors I presume this is easily measurable, just curious why it isn't documented outside of audio, as I have noticed resistors used in sensitive analogue designs outside of audio and never heard any one say run the system for a 100 hours to get the resistors distortion levels to stabilise🙂
Easily? Sort of. I see about a 3 dB drop after "Break in" of commodity 1% metal film resistors. Have you ever seen a circuit where the difference between -120 and -123 would matter that didn't go to better products?
It has been years since I did a search, but I never found a patent.
Jack appears to be the antithesis to Arnold Krueger. Both are vile liars; one made a false claim of having invented an electron purifier and used his lie to support inane subjectivism to bolster his trinket sales. The other made a false claim of inventing ABX testing and used his lie as a podium of credibility to support his claim that all electronics sound identical to bolster his defunct amp company sales.

No, an arcane purification ritual where you have to sent the spend canister off for recharging. like the thiefery around DPF canisters in some cars.
A lot of the gremlins just are not a concern these days, even acid traps on boards....
Good to know that has moved on. In my GSM days the problems were wierd shaped boards created by some guru in finland that worked fine at 900MHz if the components didn't bounce off in pick and place but we had to make them work at 2GHz, where the metalwork became a nice cavity resonator. I miss those days. But I still must kick my anti-lead free bias.

Your logic here is a bit flawed or at least confused.

Never observed this with our thin film resistors. But in any case you need to qualify how many resistors in the signal path are running at 1/4 their rated power and if it mattered bump the few up in size.

I suspect that 3 dB is less than the batch to batch variance. But I did try long term testing and saw some resistors did shift, but only the cheap ones. Still a great value for the money.
seems apt to post this here. The comments are particularly good from the true believers.

Ok doing it in vegas is a bit self promotional of Randi, but will be interested to see what the results end up as.

It's hardy my logic. You may need to apply some differentiation between text repetition and thought ownership. Follow this discussion from the beginning - none are my words.
OK

I'm confused too. Had not heard of said Arny before, but other that being a bit of an online **** at times he is not saying everything sounds the same.
Anyway, his claims, visible at present online, are that amplifiers were perfected in the 70s, people can't distinguish between components with distortion below 10% (this number varies- he's stated several figures), and that ABX tests prove modern audio equipment are indistinguishable. Most people here and DIY sponsors would disagree with those claims. I didn't know of him either, but there is alot of discussion elsewhere about these claims in the past month of so. They seem to be opposites.I'm confused too. Had not heard of said Arny before, but other that being a bit of an online **** at times he is not saying everything sounds the same.
... This goes against the second law of thermodynamics. ...
BQPs remind me of a SF short story, where a magician kept his cave cool by placing a screen at the entrance that let only fast moving air molecules out and slow moving ones in...
I followed Arny Krueger 15 years ago at the height of the AB discussions. I don't think he says all amps sound the same (although you might maybe find an isolated out of context piece of text that seems so).
He thought all would sound the same below some specific specs however, and put in a lot of effort with the ABX stuff to prove it.
I can't see how that makes him a liar or a fraud. If I was Mr. Krueger I would be pretty upset if my name was mentioned in the same sentence as Jack Bybee's.
