I am little puzzling about the psu filtering capacitors! Kendeils are known for their
bright sound. This is not my cup of tea!!! But where in EU find alternatives and which do
you suggest? I look for more fundament but also clear!!! What values are you using?
I guess 100000uF per rail is a good starting point...

I would not worry about the 'sound' of the PSU smoothing capacitors. The circuit sounds beautiful. And you can adjust your tone with P3.

In two separate cases this huge monsters could have place also bigger capacitors,
I think huge banks of capacitance makes great difference in sound quality at the end...

🙂 I am in the procces of ordering the mains transformers and
something is bothering me...
What do you thing is better a big 1600VA transformer or two smaller 800VA.
I am aware the dual mono operation is maybe a better solution for separating the two
channels but the bigger core is faster in response....
So what to dooo? At least I know I will order EI core transformers🙂

easier grounding.
easier lifting.
shorter speaker cables.
less crosstalk.
