🎉 I got my tickets, I am looking forward to the event and seeing everyone and their projects. If all goes well, I will have @Ben Mah's SIT power amp to demonstrate (I am still working on it 🙂).
I got a drive from The OC to Petaluma... about 7 or so hours... if you need help setting up on Friday, please PM me. I can always leave a little bit earlier. I'm trying to avoid the rush hours.

I have only recently heard about a cap assist along these lines, and I have some high q woofers laying around, so I'm interested in what goes into adding this as a design element. Will you be presenting about it?
Hi Folks, please do NOT buy Sunday Amp Camp tickets. When buying Amp Camp tickets be sure you selected Saturday. Only 4 seats left for Amp Camp. We are trying to get Eventbrite to delete the Sunday tickets.
Burning amp noob question: Does one have to bring tools and a soldering iron/station for the amp camp, or will those things be supplied?
^ Everything you need will be provided including tools / solder etc.

Any newbie DIYer who hasn't attended an amp camp or speaker camp event, or even a Burning Amp Festival, I encourage you to jump right in. Between Jim and the others who generously, graciously, and patiently give their time and attention to helping even complete beginners accomplish their project build, you will have a blast, learn a lot, and be filled with satisfaction.
Also, these projects are a heck of a value - you will be building what is essentially a professionally-designed, unique product, at what is a low, subsidized price, with expert assistance and guidance from some truly fine folks!

Yeah, baby. Though I swear the blue blocking coating is messing with my colour perception. Glasses on I have a hard time telling 1.2 kΩ (brown-red-red) from 12 kΩ (brown-red-orange). Glasses off my colour perception is fine. That blue blocking stuff is mostly marketing as far as I'm aware, but that's a topic for another conversation.

Looking for volunteers to help man the video camera during the talks and auction. There will be somebody coordinating and overseeing the process. Mainly we need a couple sets of hands during the talks.
