I’m bringing my 15” woofer plus large horn system, passively crossed using Papa’s current source crossover techniques. Happy to hookup the amp to it Vincent. I gave my VFET amp to a friend, it does sound amazing. Also bringing the F4 and the SCG preamp. Party time.

Tom, are you bringing one of your amps? You know we’ll need when it comes time to turn it to 11.

Correction, Dennis Hui is the member who is donating an unassembled kit for the auction. I'm just bringing my completed 2016 VFET for people to hear so they know how unbelievably fantastic this amp is and thereby increase BAF's proceeds. I'm looking for the most revealing speakers that will do this.

How are they with a 4 ohm load?

It’s rated 15 watts into 8 ohms, 20 watts into 4 ohms.

I’ve been swamped with work and personal stuff…BUT this year’s Burning Amp project is coming together just in time.

Open baffles made from a solid slab of purpleheart wood, with all wideband metal-cone drivers. I’m hoping to get the crossovers assembled tomorrow.

Looking forward to seeing everyone and showing them off this weekend!
